I not going to say who but someone yesterday went on a road trip with his brother to the Great State of Ohio to buy fireworks - The good kind the kind that is not legal in Pennsylvania. Whats not legal in PA? Well anything that flys and goes boom so every year thouands of Pennsylvanians flock to Ohio to purchase the goodies for some patriotic fun on the Fourth of July... happy birthday America what would we do without you?!

I live my life in a complex and confusing world. I have many different motives and drivers, and I am exposed to a huge amount of information, much of it conflicting. As I try to navigate through it all, but this implies knowing what my destination is. Perhaps, many of my assumptions are questionable; perhaps, many of my 'facts' are false. This blog is about my journey, bringing together many themes which might seem incompatible to some. I once held a view of the world only in simplistic, polarised terms. Which prevented me from opportunities for personal growth that acknowledging and embracing complexity can bring. A wiseman once said, "Those of us who accept complexity are always on a journey to learn more and to make a difference." Furthermore, there is no 'black and white', only infinite shades of grey. I hope that you enjoy this insight into one complex journey I titled My thoughts.

Wanna know why this is hilarious? Because all the people I grew up with drove to Michigan to get the really good fireworks.
