The greatest adventure

President John F. Kennedy once said,
"Many years ago the great British explorer George Mallory,who was to die on Mount Everest,was asked why did he want to climb it.He said, 'Because it is there.'
Well, space is there, and we're going to climb it,and the moon and the planets are there,and new hopes for knowledge and peace are there.
And, therefore, as we set sail we ask God's blessing
on the most hazardous and dangerous and greatest adventureon which man has ever embarked."
Much later we put the first man on the moon and brought him back safely. President John F. Kennedy laid the foundations for many things in his term as our nation's president. Yesterday I took a step towards a goal that I had long wanted but was to fearful to accept - until now. In the coming months I am hoping, and prying to God that I move forwards with it...
