Blood in the water

The sharks smell blood in the water and oh how they are circling! Yes my bank, the job i enjoy is ... well wounded by the subprime fall out and the sharks are circling. In the last week three reports from the AP press all report other banks in talks for a piece of our action.

Troubling times in the banking world but hey as my manager once explained, he been in banking all his life and he saw four mergers... that's just the nature of the banking industry. The good thing is one bank is the same as the next so you learn a job and do it well you can easily transition to the next bank. And so I wait... wait for the next bank but I still have hope we will stay whom we are ... our own.
