Sunday madness on the Northshore

Needless to say it was a disappointing game Sunday, yes it was indeed disappointing loss for the Steelers, and their fans. The Steelers faced their second consecutive defeat this season. It was their first loss at Heinz Field. During his post-game press conference, Bill Cowher was said that turnovers contributed to the Steelers 28-20 loss to their AFC North Division rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals. “Obviously the two big turnovers in the fourth quarter there were obviously pretty much the difference in that ball game,” Cowher said. “We turned it over five times and you’re not going to win many football games doing that.” Ben Roethlisberger, the darling of Pittsburgh last year threw for 208 yards, said the wind didn’t make things any easier. “The wind made it tough, you know, no excuses obviously, but there were a couple throws he threw and the one specifically he threw to Cedric that the wind just knocked it straight down, or at least that was what he told reporters. Cowher said his team never threw in the towel.“Those guys never quit playing and I was very proud of that,” he said. This was only the third game of the season, but there’s plenty more games down the road. Speaking as a loyal Steeler fan I say hang tough we shall meet again on Dec 31st and Cincinnati will get theor come upings!
